Two-factor authentication
Multi-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account. Whenever you sign in to the FaceUp administration, you will need to enter both your password and also the authentication code generated by an authenticator app.
1. To enable multi-factor authentication, you'll need to have the authentication app installed on your mobile phone. FaceUp is compatible with all common authentication apps such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, Passwords (iOS) etc.
2. Start by accessing the My Account settings by clicking on the menu in the bottom left corner of the administration panel. Within My Account settings, go to the Security page, and you will find the Two-factor authentication section at the bottom.
3. Scan the QR code with your authentication app.
4. Enter the 6 digit code from the app and confirm the settings by clicking on the Enable button.
How to disable two-factor authentication?
1. Go to the My Account settings, navigate to the Security page and find the Two-factor authentication section.
2. Click the toggle button, enter the code from your authentication app and confirm the deactivation by clicking the Disable button.
What to do after losing access to the authentication app?
If you can no longer access the authentication app, you will be unable to log into your account on your own. In this situation, contact us, and we will assist you in regaining access. To prevent unauthorized access, we will require verification from another member of your administration to confirm your identity.
