Employees
You can easily manage your employees directly in the FaceUp. The Employees section in the Data Management tab support flexible ways of importing and managing your team, including manual entry, CSV import, and HR system integrations (e.g., BambooHR, UKG Pro).
The Employees section appears first in the Data Management tab, making it easy to access and manage your team.
Managing employees in this section also enables:

Sending surveys by email

Employees involvement in case details
-
Employees involvement in investigation details
How to import employees
You can add employees in various ways, which you can combine:

Manually adding (just fill in the required fields: Full name, Email, Status).

In bulk by uploading a CSV file with your employees’ details.

Or by integrating your HR system if supported.
1. Manual adding
You can add employees one by one directly in the platform’s web interface:

Go to Data Management -> Employees.

Click Add Employee -> Add manually.

Fill in the required fields:

Full name – the employee’s first and last name.
-
Email – used for sending surveys and identifying employees.
-
Status – choose from active or inactive.
-

Save the form.
💡 This method is perfect if you have only a few employees to add or need to make quick updates without preparing a CSV file.
2. Bulk import by uploading a CSV file
You can add or update multiple employees at once by uploading a CSV:

In Data Management -> Employees, click Add employees -> Upload file.
- Download a template from the import screen. It contains the correct structure and formatting required for a successful import. You will also receive a file with detailed instructions (
instructions.txt
), an example file (example.csv
) andenums
files to use when filling out the import file. -
Prepare a CSV file with your employees’ details using the template (
template.csv
). Each row should represent a single employee. -
Upload your file. You will then see a preview of the data, which you need to confirm to start the import.
How it works:
- New employees (emails not found in the system) are added.

Employees matching on email are updated with any new details in the file.

Employees missing from your CSV are not deleted - they remain unchanged in the system.
💡 This method is ideal when adding many employees.
3. By integrating your HR system
If you have a supported HR system (e.g., BambooHR, UKG Pro), you can automate employee management:

Connect your HR system through Integrations.

Once connected, employees will be imported and synced automatically based on your integration’s configuration.
💡 This method is best for organizations with existing HR software, saving time and ensuring data stays up-to-date.
